raping and pillaging Amber Lake

I recently drove out to Amber Lake to get some feel for whether or not the ice would be off for the March 1 opener. Of course, the lake is still iced over with a thin layer of snow/slush on it. I was very distressed to see lots of footprints going back and forth from the boat launch to a hole in the ice. The blasted poachers can't even leave the lake alone when it is iced over!#-o

I'll soon be over that way and fly fishing Amber. I can't believe someone would go ahead and poach right through the ice during closed season. Like Marc said, get their plates or something to positively ID the suspects and contact WDFW.

Gee whiz, imagine that! Just another example why more laws, whether hunting, fishing or gun control, are a silly idea. Too few officers trying to police up the many who simply don't give a damn! You'll even see them at Amber come ice off, just wait and see.
