wading boots
I would like to get into fly fishing but I have an issue with wading boots. I have very wide feet (4E) and haven't found boots that will fit me. Does anyone know of a good brand that makes their boots in wide widths.

Just quickly looking around the web, I found that Simms makes a EEE available through L.L. Bean. Most wading shoes as you probably know are in even sizes. If you can't find any manufacturers, call White's Boots (509) 535-2422 in Spokane and they may be able to build you a set. Call Barry at White's. He fly fishes and can find out what the store can do.

Now, what kind of fly fishing are you looking at getting into, river or lake? If river, you are going to have to go the route stated above. If you want to float tube, then all you need is stocking foot waders and some Force Fins.
Hope this is some help for you.

Mostly river fishing. I know a guy that fishes the Wallowa River quite a bit. Right now I just need to collect equipment. I can't really afford to get it all at once so it might take me awhile to get going.

Hands down KorKers are the best boot avail. I spend around 75 days a year in mine and after 4 years still holding strong. They Fit wide feet. Get the studed aquastealth removable soles, so grippy their scary.
