so its been a month or so since I made this thread and I've still yet to purchase a setup and actually go out fly fishing. Been a busy month for me with work and recently purchasing a car...but I'm still very much interested.
Unfortunately, Avid Angler canceled their last set of classes and after calling around a few places, I haven't found a beginner class. Having tried it out once a few months ago with a friend, I am absolutely clueless as to where to even start other than watching videos and reading article after article. I understand a lot of the basics of it but a lot of questions unanswered.
Along with rivers, I'm very much interested in fishing for SRC's off the beach. I live right next to Carkeek so I'll be spending some time out there once I learn.
With that said, any WaLake members with some extra time to teach a newbie like myself? I'm dieing to learn! If there is any member on here who's willing to spend a few hours out on the water showing a newbie a thing or two on casting and the technicalities of flyfishing, I am an eager student! I'm mostly free on weekends and live in North Seattle but drive out to Snoqualmie quite frequently as my gf's parents live out there and live very close to Carkeek beach. Shoot me a PM anyone
