Best Sinking Fly Lines and Great Fly Reels

What do you guys and gals suggest I get as far as sinking fly lines are concerned. Once again, I'm just learning the sport so keep that in mind. Any links to a quality line that isn't too expensive?
As far as reels go, does anyone have a suggestion? I would be looking at purchasing a 4 and 5 weight reel for trout around here. Does that sound about right? I currently own a 5 weight rod by Drake - I like it. I think a 3 weight might be too light, what do you fly guys and gals think? Does the weight of the reel need to match the weight of the fly-rod?
I need links to websites of good quality fly-lines and then to good reals. My brother is a guide in AK and he can get me reels for a discounted price, but I'd love links to reels you personally recommend or have yourself.
Once again, I can't thank you enough for answering all my questions...it's quite the sport to get into and it'll take some time and effort to get to learn. Years, I know. I can't wait, though.
