fishin boy, are you in shoreline or yakima??? because there are lots of accesses but, depends of course on what your fishin for and the time of year since the seasons changes all. it's been years since i fished it heavy but,can assist you at pond #4 you can access at end of drive thru tunnel and all along the west side of the lake by climbing the dike. on highway 12 just east of parker on mellis rd. go thru orchards on gravel rd. under freeway thru giant culvert pipe to stop sign left to ponds #1 and 2 right to yakima river access take your waders if the water is high you will have to ford across over flow slough and damage by 4x4s .But if low you can drive right to boat launch located in another section of slough still bring your waders to get to primary river and don't get stuck. at buena pond # 6 go to other side of freeway {west} and on right you'll find a drive in area once again don't get stuck and if driving 4x4 please don't tear it up anymore than it already is. enough for now. lol
