king county kokanee?

While visiting my parents in Pierce Co. a couple weekends back, I took my son to Clear Lake and we ended up catching some kokanee, our first ever (we're fairly new to fishing). Needless to say, we had a great time and my son really enjoyed his kokanee experience. We live in Seattle and I was wondering if there are any smaller lakes in King Co. that we could try. We have a inflatable that I row, so I prefer to stay away from the larger lakes (Washington, Sammamish). I read on the WDFW website that Sawyer, Meridian, Wilderness, Langlois and Angle lakes had fry plants of Kokanee, but I haven't seen any reports of people fishing for kokanee there. Since we have very limited time available to fish (usually one morning a weekend if that), I was hoping someone could point us in the right direction. We don't need any secret spots or tips, just want to take him to a lake we know has catchable kokanee in it. Thanks for any help.

I was out on Clear on a morning that I saw a guy rowing a raft across Clear Lake with a child. It seems that it was a light colored raft and dark oars (blue) was it you? Congratulations on getting kokanee! I had to work real hard and get downriggers to get them.
I know someone that got Kokes one morning before 9am at Lake Meridian but it is big.
I know that Ward Lake in Thurston County is small. It also isn't too far from the freeway.
A lot of the lakes are big.
