Don't hit up Beaver (King Co). Action has slowed considerably and your just fishing for hatchery trout with poor meat quality. Wait a few weeks and then they will be a better target. Also you might want to consider Lake Washington, I've been hearing good reports from there in the past few weeks...

Black Lake down in Olympia has been pretty productive for my friends and I. Might head out there tomorrow morning actually.

Need to try and stroke my ego after getting skunked at beaver lake yesterday.

I've been fishing Lake Goodwin lately and doing well on some nice fish. Been watching the depth finder and using my downrigger. Still unsing the old standby weddingring and worm.

I've only made it to Cassidy and Stevens as of late.....Cassidy had a horrible toxic algae bloom goin on (had to restring the line on that pole, haha) and in Stevens, I've only been getting small fish, twelve inches tops. Of course, this is long lining without a downrigger. Still a good time, sometimes it's just nuts, and can't keep two lines down, while other times, only one person will get one to the boat. It's all good though, it's just that time of year.

meridian is pretty fished out, at least on the dock area.

Another year round lake in Snohomish County that is worth a look is Flowing Lake. This lake has always treated me well with good sized bow's in the fall.

boren is open year round. it has some ok rainbows and cutbows

Boren doesn't get a big stocking, but then again, it is only 15 or 16 acres, but tnj is right, those cutbows are pretty fish and can get some size to them....

I noticed you mentioned Goodwin, and Lake Martha (not Martha Lake) is year round too, up in the northwest end of sno-county in the Seven Lakes area (right near Howard Lake both are past Goodwin towards the coast). I'm hittin up Martha in the morning to see if I can get some action.

Looks like I might head out to Lake Boren for some trout action in the morning. Finally back in Seattle and I got the itch to fish. Beaver lake sure wasn't producing for me the last few times out, so looks like I'll head to Lake Boren. Been there quite a few times, haven't been for 3 years but I might as well try it out and see if I can strike some luck at a Cutbow or something...
