question. I want to take my girls fishing, via pier or bank, for trout. any recommendations for places on the Eastside of seattle? use power eggs and night crawlers.

Pine Lake on the Plateau has a nice dock to fish from. Lots of lakes with spots to fish from WDFW land but most of them are kind of like fishing from a parking lot..... Not really kid friendly. Flowing lake behind Monroe has a county park and you can fish from the beach. I'm sure there will be lots of suggestions.

Beaver Lake in Issaquah/Sammamish area has a park that I've seen people fishing/catching from. They stock it with chunky brood-stock trout every so often too.

A little north by lake stevens would be Blackmans lake, lots of shore and pier fishing.

Not quite, Lake Stevens, inside the city limits of the city of Snohomish. It's getting close to no contact with the water time. It's a good one for swimmers itch. Lots of fish get stocked and some big ones too, lots of catching going on. I'd say another week or two at the most and it's time to leave them till November.

right, Snohomish. Brain fart on my part. Let's see, there's also Silver lake (Snohomish county), I think that has a lot of shore access.

Yeah, pretty much all shore access. Tried to launch a little boat there once and ended backing half way across the lake.... Good sidewalk fishing. =)Mike Carey wrote:right, Snohomish.
