trout bait recipes
What are your favorite trout bait recipes? Post recipes of homemade trout baits. I've always tried making my own bit they never turn out. Please share Tried and true recipes.

Option # 1) Mix 1 part Velveta cheese with 1 part Velveta cheese. Catches rainbows, cuts, brookies, etc., but never a Brown.
Option # 2) Mix 1 part yellow whole kernel corn with 2 parts yellow whole kernel corn. Catches same as above, plus carp.
OK, while the above are not mixes, or home made I suppose, I guess the real question that comes to me is "why make your own?". If it is to save money, the two above options have worked so well for me it is scary. In fact, corn is outlawed in some states, to include Utah and Wyoming (or at least they use to be).
Of course, if you want a floating bait, that would take a little more effort. I have some ideas, but ........ I really don't like to fish bait so I have not pursed it.![Flapper [flapper]](./images/smilies/msp_flapper.gif)
