Toad Lake

Post by kuttkilla » Tue Mar 25, 2008 11:13 pm

Toad Lake in Bellingham -- has anyone fished it for trout in years past? Is it any good? All I know is a bunch of WWU students love to party on that dock :-$

Haha yeah good memories on the dock. When I was in college we use to cast a line out there when we drinking and catch massive amounts of planters..

Ya it is pretty good. I would say the partying that goes on is better than the fishing though...

If you are going to Bellingham, take a trip to squalicum, that is where it's at. Early june at about 15 feet deep with any emerger fly or rooster tail. 12-18" cutts all day!
Rum is good.

Sweet, thanks Rabbits. When I head up that way next time to visit my buddies at WWU I'll be sure to go back armed with more than just powerbait and weight.

Is squalicum fly-fishing only?
