I have heard that later in the season, trout start adjusting to natural foods. Would salmon eggs work as one of those "natural foods"? Ive never caught a trout on worms. What else is a natural food that trout eat?
Thanks, JT

JT', If you're still fishing from the shore, pb and a slip sinker is probably your best bet. Worm with a marshmallow, inflated worm, salmon egg with mallow. The key thing is to use a longer leader to match the bottom growth. The leader should present your bait just a couple inches above the weeds. A little higher is better than a lower. Those fish are predators and they look up for the kill. They get lazy in the warmer water so closer is better.
