I was thinking about taking my float tube out there...anybody done that before? I know they stock the lakes with a lot of fish. How deep is the lake? I've only been there once, but fished from shore.

Just by their nature, I'd guess only about 10 feet deep. They started out as gravel quarries for building I5. Don't forget the North pond is Juv only.

I've fished it off a float tube before. A lot of fun. Do it.
I am guessing that its about 15 feet (plus or minus a few feet) at its deepest. Still fish power bait off the bottom, while you are in your tube, or try dragging a fly.

I've fished both ponds, both from the shoreline and from a canoe. There is a channel connecting them and I canoed through the channel. Don't think the north pond was juvie back then. I was fishing for largemouth bass and caught a few from each pond. Nothing very big.

Well they just put in 4000 fish in, including 417 triploids. Fishing is fast and furious. Not sure what pond they stock, maybe both.
