How long is trout good for?
So I caught some fish last week, filleted them, and put them in the "fridge" not freezer. Are they still good to eat?

Smell em. If they smell fishy bury them in the garden if they don't - cook em quick:chef:

If they smell fishy bury them like you were told by northfork!!!! If they don't smell bad or fishy ...cook them and then they will keep for 3 or more days more or freeze them after cooking. You are at the point where the fish could go bad very soon. I'm guessing less than a day....maybe hours. Get cookin' my friend!.... :-)

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.
