Ok I have to bring this to your guys attention. Last weekend we stopped and fished here because we heard it was planted 170 4lb rainbows. We fished and didnt catch much, a small bow and a 2lb bass. But I was checking out the stocking report and take a look at what they put in here. These plants started on march 12 and the last plant was June 27. The lake received:
5,740 regular sized rainbows
50 10lb steelheads
238 5lb rainbows
145 triploids
120 rainbows (.14 fish per pound, so something like 8lbs)
400 1lb steelheads
170 4lb rainbows
71 triploids
Yeah they were busy stocking this place. But heres the best part. There is a very nice state park on the lake with a fishing dock and a bridge you can fish off of. And the lake is only 33 acres in size
Lake Sylvia (grays harbor)
