First "CRAPPIE" of 2010!

Post by panfisher » Tue Feb 16, 2010 7:30 pm

 here are a couple of crappie i got from Myron lake today. fished between 3:30-4:45pm using a 1/80th oz yellow jig. 131/3" and 101/2". Lost a few others that were just as nice. Fish the jig real slow and in the middle of the down trees.

Way to go. The small one is a big one from my area. Crappie is one of my favorite fish to eat.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Nice craps Panfisher. Good start to the season. What is your biggest panfish you've ever caught?

Nice crappie, I'll have to go down to Silver Lake sometime and catch some when they get into spawn mode in a few weeks.

The bluegill was from Green Lake, Minnesota. The crappie was from Lake Koronis, Minnesota back 87-88. Big lakes, big fish.
