Crescent Lake

Post by mallard83 » Fri May 30, 2008 6:50 pm

Has anyone hit Crescent Lake for warmwater species as of late? I am talking about the little pond out by High Bridge near Monroe. I was mainly wondering if anyone has hit crappie here yet this year because that is mainly what I will be targeting next week in my boat with a friend. I have caught numerous species hear including largemouth, crappie, pumpkinseed, bluegill, perch, rainbow and cutthroat, squaw, the occasional sucker, and bullhead catfish. I am willing to catch any of these species if any are being caught but would prefer crappie. I am mainly just looking for a fun afternoon on the water with a friend here so any reports would be nice if you have fished it thus far this season. Thanks.
