I am fairly new to the Walleye fishing game and my wife absolutely fell in love the Bridgeport State Park.
I am very interested in fishing Walleye on Rufus. We spend most of our time trolling for trout lower end of the lake and occasionally make the run to the net pens.
Any info Walleye fishing Rufus would be greatly appreciated

Check the reports section, there have been a few walleye reports posted recently but they were at the upper end.

I have been watching the reports daily. Getting all the info I can from there and I thought I would see what specific info on Rufus I could gather here. Walleyemark has been having success on Rufus that is what brought me to this post.
I am "fisher" and happy just fish and to put in the time to learn a fishery and how and where to find and catch them. Sadly my wife is a "catcher" and if I cant put her a bite she quickly tires of it. I try to in as prepared as possible to make everyone happy. With a 5 hour drive to Rufus I don't have the opportunity to spend the time figuring things out ahead of time.

If you're serious about searching for walleye you need to be in the upper section of Rufus. Would do best to launch at Seaton Grove and fish the areas Mark mentioned in his report. He's back to Roosevelt now that Porcupine Bay has re-opened. ;-)
