Crappie fishing...

Anyone know where the best,(or at least really good) crappie fishing lakes are. Preferably in and around Spokane Co.? I know they got em in Siver lake, just wonder where else was a good place to target them. Thanx

I know that their in Long Lake. I would refer to the fishing reports page for the lakes in your county and see where their biting. In addition, the "General Store" and "White Elephant" stores on Division have staff in their fishing departments that always know what's go on and where.

ProP-Junkie, I can tell you a great place from shore for crappie at long lake. Sunset Bay it is between Willlow Bay and Tum Tum and when you drive by it, it is the only place on 291 with water on both sides. There is just enough parking on the lake side of the road or you can park at the old Sunset Bay cafe it has just reopended with a new name (I forgot the new name). Fish the lake side, there is a set of colverts and a willow tree, in front of the willow tree has always been a productive spot for crappie. (the northwest coner of the bay just below the road)

Any of the shallow flats in the sun seem to produce crappie. Im gonna go out this week and see whats happenin on the upriver (above tumtum) areas, Ill keep ya posted.
