Potholes/Moses Lake Walleyes/Dirtbikes

Post by kevinb » Tue May 13, 2008 7:19 pm

 First off, wheres the devil horns smiley?

Ok,so I'm taking the family...the whole family to Potholes. I will be fishing walleyes and the majority of the family wants to ride dirt bikes in the dunes. Most have their own bikes but are their rentals in the area?

Ok,now putting this back to fishing. Any tips for Pothole's walleyes in July?

As far as the dirt bikes I know there are a bunch of dunes in Mosses lake, a huge party place though.

Walleye in July. Go out to the sand dunes or the mouth of crab creek troll a worm harness with a full crawler in about 12 - 19" of water. People will say that they will only bite durring the morning and night. The bite is better a hour around sun rise and sun set, but you can catch them all day over there. You will need a decnt depth finder, but once you find the fish mark it and keep coming back to that spot. I have fished one hole for an entore week. You can also drift back and forth over the school and jig for the.

i will be there the last 2 weeks of july. with the daily temps around 90-100 dgrees, the fishing gets real wierd on this body of water. just like gpc, we use the worm harness to locate fish, then jig/leech them to death. fishing gets tough for the wally's during this time, but, big stringers can be had. miles and miles of trails for the dirtbikes.
