Great Day

Post by JT26 » Sun Jun 01, 2008 1:20 pm

Went to Sammamish again and caught 19 keepers of perch i think
I have a few questions though..
Isnt it a little early to be catching little 2 inch perch? We caught probobly 40 little ones like that. I mean, didnt they just spawn?
Why are they so shallow? Isnt it to early for them to be in less then 8ft of water? We were even catching 12 inchers that shallow!!

Nice job!

Perch will be in the shallows from now until October. Most of the ones in the shallows will be smaller ones less than 8 inches, but you'll catch plenty that are larger than that throughout the summer.
