hi is this time a good time of season for the triploid trout on the indian reservation by Nespelem on columbia river? like to know so i dont have to waste a trip, thank you guys

YES, the fishing on Rufus Woods has started to pick up and the catching will only get better as the water temp drops. In my opinion "No trip to Rufus Woods is ever a waste of time"

Hi Toni,
You are very correct. If there was a trout fishery the same quality of RW on your side of the Mountains I still think it would be worth the drive. We just placed our second home on the market here in the Wenatchee Valley if you would like to move a little closer. I will gladly provide a couple of a non-professional self guided Rufus Woods trips as part of the home buyer package if your interested. :jocolor:

LOL Hey BigD, Miss Toni has a point there:-" , and it is about perception. If I had to drive 4-6 hours to the fishin hole, I'd have a different perception of it than I do now with just a 2 hour run. But I'm with YOU , on not being a wasted trip, Cindy and I enjoy it as an outing with catching the tripps as a bonus feature:dwarf: . Water temp has been dropping a temp or so every trip up there.

LOL. If I could be assured a good paying will retiring job and I could sell my home. I would do it. I liked visting my mom when she lived in Omak. I only fished Conconully once or twice.
I love the salmon fishery here though.
I do feel the same way here that you all do about going and not catching. It is still worth it. But at the cost of gas and top milage at 19 and the distance. RW is right along there with Alaska but really more attainable.
