Batteries Vs Water?
When I want to use my pontoon boat with a battery operated motor ie..Min -Kota what if the battery gets wet? Can a battery get wet and still funtion properly?Or is it very dangerous? My toon has a motor mount and a wire basket for a motor.Do I need to enclose the battery for safe operation?
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

A few splashes shouldn't hurt it. dunking it????? I'd think about some sort of battery box for the 'toon. Cheap insurance.
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

If it rains my battery gets wet (SO DOES THE MOTOR) and nothing has happened.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

As long as it doesn't get dunked in salt water it will be ok, I am in the marine industry and have had quite a few customers with bellows problems and there batteries were actually still functioning properly completely submereged under fresh water.
