Galvanic Corrosion and bimini top?
Re: Galvanic Corrosion and bimini top?
Crap. They sold me ox gard which is NOT dialectric grease. It conducts electricity where DE grease doesnt. So I picked up some Bulb grease at schucks and I am going to wipe it all clean, remove the bolts and screws and slather with bulb grease. Essentially a silicone grease. Im a little pissed that Lowes sold me this telling me it WAS dialectric, just branded different. ![Cursing [cursing]](./images/smilies/msp_cursing.gif)

So I used bulb grease from schucks. Its a silicone, non conducting grease that protects against corrosion and waterproofs aswell. I backed out all the screws and cleaned up all the other stuff as well as I could, then applied this thick. Here she is!
