Yep just beach it on that sand bar where everyone snags when they troll...you'd anchor and plunk 24/7!

Theres a good deal. You could sell your 55lb thrust or the 30lb that comes in this package.

Careful man. I cannot stress it enough. You needa do a lot of HW to figure out exactly what you want and don't go to check a boat and expect to buy it. Your making a big purchase and you gotta make sure it's a good deal and its what you want...

In all seriousness, FM, you need to amass a list of 2-3 boats you like, and then see 2 or 3 boats before making a decision. I wouldn't go down there with having my mind made up and just buy it...especially with gas at $3.50/gallon, you'll be set back a little by fuel, too. Do your much needed research, search google, read reviews, and then make a very well informed decision after seeing maybe 2 or perhaps even 5 boats...

If it's what you want then more power to you. But don't just buy it to get out on the water this weekend. One weekend over the course of owning a boat for several years is not important at all.

I'd suggest looking at the boat to get a feel for it and see it in person, but trust me, lots of little lake boats go on sale on CL every day and don't buy the first one.

I'm sorry but you really haven't done your research FM. You've only been looking for 4-5 days. Try like 3-4 weeks...make sure you browse CL for weeks, and get a really good price, on a great boat...I'm sure you'll make the right decision...also, make sure it fits in the back of your mom's SUV.

Looks pretty dirty inside...and you must inspect the hull for any leaks...I'd ask like $175 and then he'll counter with like $225, then you can ask $200...don't go in there and just pay $250...not worth it...

ALSO...get a livingston...I think it's a great boat! But like Sam-K said, they are a dime a dozen...there will be more all the time!! Remember that...be careful.

Ask him to take it on the water. Leaks can be small enough and difficult to see.
He might think you are joking with him when you are asking him to lower the price. While it is never a bad thing to try, those boats sell due to a high demand, and at $250 it aint a bad deal. He'll get the $250 if he's smart enough to hold onto it for a while.

Be sure to show us some pictures when you end up with something
