DR's are nice even on small trout lakes. You might get some odd looks, but the ability to put your lure at the EXACT depth is a big help. It's not tough to learn the depths achieved based on weight on line, line diameter, and speed, but to put your lure at a specific depth is something I really value much more now that I have DR's...

That's what I was thinking...it'd go sooo fast...like 35 or something. My boat goes around 22 full out and with my motor on FM's boat...it'd go like 35mph.

DUDE. PM's or new threads. I'm more then willing to discuss such matters that don't clog up threads with just small talk and I don't wanna make small little posts that everyone else has to weed through.

Don't be sorry...This is where the site upgrade will come in handy...the instant chat forum will be sweet...Marc talked about this...FM you need to direct all your questions to one large PM rather than sending 100's of PM's to members and infiltrating their inbox's bud...somebody had to say it.

Hey FM, you should just keep it named the north star. It already has the name on it, and it is a good name. just my suggestion.

Fishingmachine, your boat looks like it could use some work. Some new decals might do the trick. None the less, not too shabby as long as it's seaworthy.

I agree SmokinAces...there needs to be some improvements here...rod holders, flag...maybe a bambi paint job on the side...gotta spice it up man.

Fishingmachine, its the small things on a man's boat that really define him. I see you in your boat with a pirate flag and a plank. Something to add some character. Some rod holders, an anchor, and a nice engine might also help! :farao:
