Fish Finder for Sevylor Fishhunter Raft?

Post by yooper_fisher » Wed Dec 29, 2010 2:02 am

I'm looking at purchasing a sevylor fish hunter HF280 (the 9' model) and was curious if anyone has any experience putting a fish finder on this type of raft? I used to have one of these when I was a kid and can't see to think of anywhere to put one. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have a seahawk rubber raft and a hummingbird fish finder. I put the sensor right on the back underneath with the suction cup. It usually works really well as long as it's inflated well. If you'll be rowing, the oars show up on the finder's screen, but you can still see the fish. But since I'm rowing, it makes it way more fun to fish big water so that I know when there are fish around.

nevermind, I figured it out. I haven't been fishfinder shopping in years and didn't realize they made them with the suction mount. Those look perfect, thanks again.
