Northwest Fishing Reports

I got mine last week, but I forgot to put it on. I remembered when I was out on the road today with the trailer.... Fortunately, didn't get pulled over and get a ticket. Surprising too, since I had a patrol car riding behind me for a couple of miles on the way home.

Whoops. Got mine in Jan and March. Now to get the boat tabs this month, or maybe next month.

Boat is always June.

Ya, but sometimes I get them early in April, sometimes in May, sometimes in June, depends on which month I have more extra $$.

I always get them at the same time, whenever I receive the notice for the trailer. They don't send out notifications for the boat anymore. I noticed they changed the wallet size card this year.

Hahahah yeah, me too. I should have said they're Due in June.

Its hard with the trailer is in January and the boats in june.....sometimes easier to buy them all at once and just be done.

What is the states reasoning for staggering expiration dates for trailer and boat? You would think they'll be the same?

Trailers will be licensed in the month purchased / licensed. I bought a boat and trailer in March - so my trailer tabs will be due every March as that is the month it was licensed in my name.

Boats are all due in June - no matter when purchased.

I get email notification for boat every year, same again this year. Email sent by DOL 4/16/16 informing me boat registration expires June 30, 2016.

This is a notification you can sign up for online. I did the same thing keeps the mind fresh.....
