Does anyone have a buddy or know a person who does marine canvas for mooring tops or can make bimini tops. I'm looking to find a guy/gal who wants to make some money outside of work.

I had stichmasters redo mine last year. He just redid the stitching on my weldcraft and did a great job. He is in Milton area and works out of his house. You can find him on cl. If you need his number let me know and I will send you a PM.

He needs a new one. Brand new boat, no old one to stitch.

I've been in and out of the boat and marine industry for many years and seen plenty of folks that only repair canvas, wouldn't touch a bolt of fabric for anything. So, ok great, the way you put it sounded like he was a repair guy. I guess not, my bad for taking your statement at face value.

Hey they could work, I'm gonna have to call them as here is the dilemma with them 54" high. My sides are 23" after sitting in the boat and measuring it be too high. Ideally id like 6' from the floor so I'm gonna see if they say ok to cut down or they can make it there at their factory like I want it. It still works out cheaper than anywhere else even if I get it re-covered with top gun fabric or some other space aged material. I'll let ya know how it turns out. Thanks people.

they'll be fine, if you make them 6' from the floor, you'll be hunched over all the time. Boots, hat and most guys are going to be hitting the ceiling.

And PS, that much harder to move a 9' rod around under.
