MY NEW LIVINGSTON
I was wondering if any of you guys have any suggestions on add ons i could buy for my livingston boat
RE:MY NEW LIVINGSTON
What size is it? I liked my 10' livingston. We put it on top of my 1981 Escort. The boat was as long as the car.
I have seen people put plywood across the bow for a deck. Then you could put a fish finder there, too.

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

Buy Kuttkilla's fish finder, some rod holders are always nice, an anchor system, DR's if you can afford them, but those can wait....

Don't add on too many things FM. Just be patient and enjoy the boat, fish out of it 5-10 times and get a feel for it, and then maybe add some things you think need to be added...don't add things without having taken it out for some spins and trolls...fishingmachine wrote:i already have a fishfinder and yeah i am gonna get some rod holders

i took the boat out today and it was fun

DR's are pricey. If you think you will use them enough and benefit enough from them, the clearly they are worth purchasing. It's all up to you though. You the one paying for it, so you gotta decide what you wanna spend....fishingmachine wrote:well mine is 7.5 feet and was thinking of using a downrigger

well i mean sam what rod holders should i put on there
RE:MY NEW LIVINGSTON
You don't need a downrigger right now...that's overkill...but if you insist, go with the Scotty Lake Troll clamp on mounting system...it'll set you back a bit...fishingmachine wrote:well mine is 7.5 feet and was thinking of using a downrigger

RE:MY NEW LIVINGSTON
i mean where would i use a downrigger kutt
RE:MY NEW LIVINGSTON
That's what I'm saying...you don't need one...use banana weights or something else...you could use a downrigger in Lk. Sammamish or Lk. Washington, but you don't fish that all too much...downriggers for Pine and Beaver are overkill, just in my opinion...keep it simple, and it'll be the best.fishingmachine wrote:i mean where would i use a downrigger kutt

hahahahahaha okay kutt
RE:MY NEW LIVINGSTON
Whatever ones are cheap and look like they are easy to attach. Clamp ons aren't bad at all.fishingmachine wrote:well i mean sam what rod holders should i put on there
You don't needa go spending big bucks on expensive stuff.
Glad you found a good boat for yourself...

I like Scotty rod holders. Drill 4 holes for each rod holder and your set. Scotty makes one that is removable, wich is a must if you dont have a trailer.
