The best thing I've bought for my Boat is the Minn Kota 55Lb. thrust transom mount trolling motor. I paid $249.00 at Firshermans Marine in Oregon City so with the $60.00 rebate its under $200.00.
I took it out this weekend at Lake Merwin & it worked great. Its really nice not to be listening to my old 2 stroke 4hp. kicker!

I bought a Trojan battery for it and trolled about 5 - 6 hours before it ran down. My boat is an older 16 ft. fiberglas with an 85 hp. Johnson on it so I think its pretty heavy especially with me & all my stuff.

Now if I can figure out how to catch a bunch of those Kokanee.........

Those are great.. We use one on our boat as well. I too am trying to figure out how to get all of those kokanee in my boat. Good luck to you..
