Fish N' Chips

Post by racfish » Fri May 16, 2014 5:45 pm

One thing really good about the Pac. N.W is the awesome fish n chips we have. I have 3 favorites. Spuds (Alki) Sweet D's in Coupeville and Ivars (Coulon). All three are consistently good. Anyone else have their favorites. Im willing to get some and try them out. Jacks in the Public market are good if you get there when the oil is fresh.

Sunfish on Alki west of Spuds. Good portions of large flakey fish in light batter. Fresh hand cut and battered fresh each day. Not small pieces or formed processed fish.

I haven't had restaurant fish and chips in a few years. We have no shortage of beer batter at my house! I'm a big fan of Mo's on the Oregon coast though. Don't think they're up here though.
