New grinder!

Post by ResQ » Sat Dec 28, 2013 10:22 pm

Well, its not fish (although I am planning on experimenting with some) but I got a new cabelas 3/4 hp grinder today! I got all pumped and made some venison brats with the Cabelas smokehouse onion/garlic MSG free seasoning. My venison is already packaged with some beef fat mixed in. The Brats were DELICIOUS! I am not sure what I was expecting, but they exceeded it

It really was/is. I made 12 pounds to start out and now the expectations are up! And just how easy it was really made it fun.

What is used for the sausage casing? Man made or of natural origin? It is satisfying to make your own eats, especially when it turns out good to eat. The entire process can be time consuming. When considering start to everything washed and put away finished.

How do you think smoked sausage would taste?
