Well that is different. I'd have tried it but you ate it all.

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

My grandma use to make eggs. She is the only persons eggs I ever ate. And she passed away and took her recipe with her. My grand mother was full native. She had some recipes that are not found in traditional cooking books. There the ones passed down. I wish I had paid more attention when she cooked.
More fish please!

Perch eggs are really good. As a kid we used to get a lot of perch ice fishing. Mom always cooked the eggs for appetizers before frying the filets. Her recipe was to butterfly the skein, dip in milk, then flour, then beaten egg, and finally crumbled saltine cracker. Fried in butter & oil at a medium heat, turning once. Oh yeah, Put a splatter screen over the pan while cooking as some of the eggs "pop" and splatter grease. A green salad, perch egg appetizer, fried perch filets, and an amber beverage of choice made for a mighty fine meal.
Life's short - fish hard!

Just about anything taste great as long as it is made correct and properly prepared. PF those looked very good. I just picked up Mullet roe for drying. Its served up much like what you just had on.Like Andrew Zimmern says"If It Looks Good ,Eat It." Cheers
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
RE:eggs N crackers
Interesting. I wouldn't have thought to keep those eggs to eat myself. Now I will. Thanks.
RE:eggs N crackers

Wow, that brought back some memories. I have tried carp eggs and that just didn't do it for me, although some friends from the Ozarks use to have platters full Sunday after church. Those actually look pretty good and I may have to give them a shot!

You're a braver man than I.
I can't eat anything I'd use for bait- i.e. eggs, mussles, hering, powerbait or worms.

Hey split ? You dont like pickled herring?I wouldnt eat powerbait cuz its a resin material. All the rest are yummy.I've been in Hawaii and ate those lil Japanese hat shells that cling to the rocks both cooked and raw. They are quite good .just so small you need to eat a bunch to get filled up.Youve probably have eaten worm by-products and didnt know.Worm casings are used as a ground beef filler in some drive ins.
