Best spot for bucks? Mule deer? Blacktails? Whitetails?

Post by ZogTheFuzzy » Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:15 pm

What, in your opinion, is the best spot for big bucks in Washington State for mulies, blacktails and whitetails?

For me, the biggest mule deer I've seen was in the hills just east of Pearrygin Lake, near Winthrop, a massive 6 x 5. I saw this beast in early July some years ago. He wasn't around during the hunting season, of course. :)

The biggest blacktail I've seen (5 points both sides) was near Council Bluff (Packwood area), and this fellow faded into the woods before I could get my bow out.

The largest whitetail I've seen in the state wasn't terribly huge, a 3 x 3 near Harrington, WA, and they were small antlers.
