My friend and I were thinking of floating from Carnation to Duvall and doing a little cast 'n blast this year a couple of times. I have talked to a few different guys with sleds that go downriver from Carnation Farms Bridge and do pretty good for ducks. We usually hunt at the mouth of the Snohomish but want to try something different espiecially since we can plunk for steelies and hunt duck at the same time in this area.
I was just wondering if any of you have hunted this area on the river before? I have fished this area and know where to get steelies, just wondering if there are any good duck spots. I don't care to hear about Stillwater or Cherry Valley walk in spots as I hunted there before and they suck (managed to much for pheasant). Any info would be appreciated.
