Probably the best deal out there, especially with the 20 bucks off. The curodos are coming out with a new model, but I'm more than happy with the current model.

yeah that new model (Chronarch)or something like that! looks Alot Like the Citica reels.. only Black and pearl white grey is color. I played with those and I think the Curado is a far better reel other than the color...

Why fix something when it's not broken?

Curado, get out there before they run out!

Dicinu, I've got few Shimano rods that I use for Bass fishing. Very satisfied with performance and price. Have yet to test there warranty work.

There is a new Curado coming out, hence why everyone has them on sale (even though their sale is much better than the other places.) The Chronarch is an entirely different model and is a better reel, even though you have to justify spending that much more than the Curado when the Curado is a great reel in itself.

The new Curado's msrp is cheaper than the previous version's original msrp and has upgraded components. This is just an fyi for people that like to justify spending more money on the addiction.

I can now justify that expense. I have never spent $200 on a bait cast reel in my life. I picked up the Curado 301E at the Wholesale sports here in Spokane, for $202, used the $20 off card and got it for $182. I matched it up with the St. Croix MoJo Bass 7' MH spinnerbait rod and used another card buying that. Grand total, $262. I put 9 more pike in the boat this last saturday and 7 of them came on the new rig. I am impressed with both the rod and the reel. If you have the resources to aquire the curado, I say do it. You won't be sorry. If not, try the Cabelas Tournament ZX reel. It's a 7.0:1 burner. I have one of those and love it as well. That one is $69.99 online right now. Match that with the Cabelas Prodigy 7' mh rod and you will be happy with that as well. That combo is $129.98 online right now. That's my #2 rod and it has put a ton of fish in the boat. Good luck and happy fishing!

I really want to get in there and pick up 2 more. I can't get there until day after tomorrow though, I hope they still have one of the 200's left. Best sidedrifting reel I have ever used.

went last night to the Fed. Way store. They still have several. The $20 coupon is not available anymore, but the fishing regs have a $10 off coupon on the first page. Employee John spooled some mono on it for free too...yay!
