Ten Flies, Simple Ties by VanBenschoten

On the Globalflyfisher web site they reviewed the referenced book. I purchased it and tried it. I tied all 10 flies in a few hours. They were easy to tie and look good. I recommend this book to beginner or [like me] those intimidated by trying to tie flies that look good. I find fly tying classes after they end at Cabellas and Sportsman Warehouse.

It was $12. probably a bit spendy for a 24 page book. But I liked it.

Their web site is: www.reelsimpleflyfishing.com

The fly shops in your area most likely have on going fly tying classes. Call one of your local shops for dates and times.
