Some big wild silvers should still be swimming out there. Chums will be next then your looking at just blackmouth fishing all winter (if area 11 even has a winter blackmouth season??)

There should be silvers hanging around and chums are one the way. Yes, there is a blackmouth season going on right now.

The creek that runs right by the Des Moines Pier (Barnes? Massey?) has silvers running up it right now.But the creek is tiny and is closed to fishing. Last year around this time the Des Miones Pier was a nice little fishing spot with quite a few salmon being caught. I havent fished it too much this year. The are building something in the water and I think that really slowed down the bite. If you go to the WDFW site there is a fishing report section. Thats where they keep the creel surveys for Puget sound. It should give you a good idea what launch/spot to go.

Careful with those creel surveys, often times they are only every few days at just a select few launches.

Yeah I wonder what it is they are building out there near the Des Moines Pier? They were working on it all summer and it was quite loud. The beach is all tore up and different, I am sure it has effected fishing...
