I was working on some new jig patterns today and came up with the "Wooly Dingleberry Worm". I realize that this is a FLY fishing forum, but this pattern could easily be tied as a weighted fly. Plus, there's no forum for home-made jigs here on WL. ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif "Brick wall")
Hook = #2 bronze Matzuo sickle
Head = 1/8 oz, black (pro-tec powder paint)
Tail/body = black & olive chenille + glow bead + olive hackle
The tail is flexible and the chenille is wrapped around a core of 10lb firewire braid that keeps it from stretching and adds strength. (Chenille yarn is not very strong.)
