Anybody check out ice thickness on Lake Pierre up north? I want to go up there this weekend but anxious about thickness.

I am new to this state and to ice fishing in Washington. I am an experienced ice Fisher having fished in both North Dakota and Idaho. Where is a good place for me to take my little cousin who has never been ice fishing this weekend where we can hook into some fish? I am NOT looking for trophy size just looking to have a good time and catch lots of fish. I am in Tacoma and willing to travel about 3 hours so Moses Lake area is in my range.

I'm rather new to the state as well, from Michigan. I went to Fish Lake last week and ice is relatively safe averaging around 6". Quite a bit of snow on ice and a few have fell through in a few bad spots. In one case 4 individuals were standing together in bad spot. Personally, I've navigated around the lake with no issues and have had good luck catching.
I hoping to head to Devil's Lake next month in North Dakota (on my ice fishing list to hit up)!

Went out to silver this morning for a few hours. Ice was 4 inches or so, 1/2 in of snow on the ice. Seemed solid where I was. Tons of little perch. Nothing of size yet. First time out this year.

***update on silver*** still has 3-4 inches of good ice. Was 3 inches of snow on the lake but with the recent rains and warm temps its a slush on top, so rubber boots are recomended. You can see how I did in my reports
