This was back a few October's ago. He pulled up a damn near 2 pound crappie. It inhaled a 1.5 squarebill.. Liberty still produces some bigger walleye every now and again. Is there a good crappie population in liberty ?

I've been meaning to check it out. I can't imagine there still being ice this late with these temps we have been having, just because it's essentially a big slow moving river/lake. If one does go. I will gladly tag along.

It's an awesome lake but I've had a rough time with my boat there and would really like to know what the ice is like. Anyone know what the ice is like on 4th of July lk or hog canyon?

Well. Here we go, downs is still frozen. About 3-7" depending where you go. Have to walk into the dock and onto the ice. Bonnie is a no chance in hell of ice fishing You can boat fish all day. Water is from wall to wall in the canyon. Medical lake has about 15" of ice on it. 0 fish at all today

Banks lake update. Ice is about 8-10" out in front of the resort. You will see fish on the flasher. But they are super super skittish.
