Fishing the hard water this year has been great. All four of us limited last Sunday in about a hours time and with the cold snap that we had last night I think we'll still be on the ice for at least another week or two. "Oh" and this isn't fish lake.

Hey Jordan,
Like you...I'm from East Wenatchee.
We spend lots of time fishing the hard water at Rat Lake above Brewster where the photo was taken.

Here's a Fish lake Daily Time Lapse Movie web cam so that you can check for yourself:

If you set the date you'll see folks on the ice 26 and 27 Feb.

Hey jpd45acp,
I just saw your post. I was at Rat Lake last Sunday 28 Feb and the ice is getting thin. I weight lots so I didn't hit the ice but a buddy that weighs about 150 pounds did find some fishable ice. I sat on the shore with a long length of rope...just in case. I don't think I'll be back on the ice until next winter.

except my office has a filter cant view streaming video on the computer so all i can view is the lake picture, i see it has ice but lookes very very grey. i was there about 3 weeks ago and the ice was ok but going south fast with about 7 inches of ice (black) covered by 8 or so inches of snow/slush that had frozen together but i really dont want to go swimming. but thanks again for the reply
