Lake Washington Coho

Post by Mike Carey » Thu Oct 23, 2014 7:40 pm

There's only about a week left for this fishery, still some chance to get out there and give it a try!

Agree. I hadn't fished it in years and was motivated by members of this site posting up reports. I forgot (even on a windy evening) how cool it is to target these salmon while the traffic zips by.

Empty. And BTW, Magnusen ramp kinda sucks. Way to flat of a slope. But I was glad to come back to that and not have to run up to the end of the lake in the dark.

Nice vid Mike. I've fished that fishery in the past with my trusty ol' Bass Tracker. Was your wife the photographer? Good job!

Nice vid! I would have tried the lake but I moored my boat at Everett this year and I didn't take it out until yesterday. I'll be trying the northern end of the Lake for trout this winter, since I only live about two miles from the Kenmore ramp. Is that Hunts Point area good for winter trout?

Yup, JoAnn ran the camcorder.

I belive the trout are catchable year round. Check the regs as size limits come into play.

Mike were you using any scent on the plugs?
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
