OK, there is no fish porn in this video. But I know there must be fish in this pretty Alpine Lake. Sorry about the shakey video, must have been the extra shot coffee.

Great video Mike. I hiked in the PNW as kid with my Father, age, hard work and genetics have caught up with me and I can no longer hike very far. To see simple things like a look around the trail at the trail crossing and seeing the signs and other views along the way to me is real treat. Thank You.

Wow Mike!

You just took me back to the very 1st alpine lake where fishing began for me, circa. 1976?
My dad used to take our family up there when we were kids. It is one of those memories where I could describe every pile of rocks around the lake. Or the time we drank from the outlet stream for 3 days, before we found a rotten deer head upstream, lol.
We caught TONS of fish from this lake, so easily as young boys.
I came back a couple times about 10 years ago, but did not have nearly the fishing experience. My dad had always told me that the outflow stream was the headwaters of the icicle creek. He had hiked from Josephine downstream on the creek many miles as a college age kid.

Thanks for sharing!
