Post by f1sh1nf00l » Sun Jan 08, 2012 4:43 pm

It's that time again! Evergreen Bass Club would like to invite everyone to join us for the 6th annual Freeze you bASS Blast team open tournament, Feb 18th on Lake Samamish. Take a shot at the $1000 big fish pot! 80% payout on entry fees , and we always have a GREAT raffle. The best part is that the proceeds from this event go to fund our annual Take a Warrior Fishing event in July. So win or loose, you can feel good about participating in this event because it goes to a good cause. We also do a drawing with those boats that get skunked, winner gets their entry fee back! Free doghnuts and coffee in the morning, and free hotdog feed in the afternoon. There will also be alot of great product demos there that day as well. So come on out and join us for a great kick off to the season and support a good cause!
If anyone would like more information, or an entry form, you can pm me here, or email me at jmminica@live.com.
Hope to see you all there.

Hey there Guys , I just wanted to add a little heads up for all anglers who are planning on fishing it this year .
This tourney is always held in the month of Feb each year or shall i say during the winter period .
For those that are not use too fishing for smallmouth Bass during this time of year this please understand the majority of the fish will be pulled from the Deeper depths .
With that being said , most likely all anglers fishing this event should have a good understanding of the importance of properly taking care of your catch .
You can anticipate that you will need to know how too properly FIZZ your fish too ensure there survival status through out the day .
If you would like to see a great example i would encourage you too view the "Fall bassfishing video" That chris ferry and myself did on lake washington , chris did a segment on "how too fizz your smallmouth" .

I just thought i would add a little food for thought prior to tourney morning , and i wish you all the best of luck :-)

Feel free to PM me if you have any concerns about fizzing fish , IM MORE THAN WILLING TO HELP YOU !!!

Thanks for the input Dez. I will make sure that we have fizzing needles available for anyone who needs one. This tournament will have a 3 fish per boat limt, which is also an effort to reduce fish mortality. But it is very important to know how to properly handle fish this time of year.
