Thank you Marc,
It's been a fun 1500 posts, hopefully this forum will continue to grow and more good people will join in.
I look forward to meeting with a few of you this summer. That's the one thing I wanna do, is fish with some of the guys here on this site...

If we take Sam fishing on a boat do we need to salute and pipe him aboard?
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Of course! And remember, you also have to be in your dress whites.

Good job Sam. all the talk we have had about hooking up and a fishing, WILL happen when you get home. This spring/summer I have a feeling that we will have a lot of people breaking the 1,000 post mark. Last spring/summer this site was full of life, new posts/reports everytime I visited. now the site is twice the size so it should be nuts come spring.

Yep I'll be coming home around spring break in late March, hoping to fish as much as I can over those 9 days I have off. Summer starts at the beginning of June for me so when schools out I'd like to get out and meet a handful of you out on the lake....

Supreme Overlord?
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

well, Sam is at the top of the pile. Aren't there Admirals with stars, or is that just Army? Help me out people, I need a few levels to keep Sam with goals to achieve.

They aren't exactly "goals" per say when I post, I just try and help as much as possible when people have questions...

Here you go Mike. There are 2 grades of Rear Admirals. The stars are the rank insignia:
Rear Admiral * 1,500
Rear Admiral ** 2,500
Vice Admiral*** 3,500
Admiral**** 4,500
Fleet Admiral*****6,000

Definitely time to expand the ranking system so Sam has a new set of goals.
Sam, congrats!

how about the top rank being poseidon (aka) "king neptune". he is one of the six original olympians. his mission is to give "voice" to the earth. he pounds and shakes the earth and sea with his wrath and pleasure and answers to no one except his brother (zues). his kingdom is the vast sea which he has populated with creatures of his own design. salmon, bass, trout, flounder, panfish, etc. he rides the waves in a chariot drawn by dolphins. 10,000 pnts ???? <')//<

Mike: what happens when the new site comes out in the coming months? Same forum or slightly different? Do we have to re-register or do we keep our names? Post counts and Private messages? Are those all gone?
