Need help finding fish in Big Lake, Skagit County.

Post by correlldm » Thu Jul 19, 2018 10:53 am

We have lake property off of West Big Lake Blvd. We are relatively new to Big Lake and haven't caught anything other than a bullhead in months. Any suggestions on where to get a lake map w/contours?

Best, Dan

Big lake is shallow, 20 feet around the NE end. Most of the lake is around 15 feet. This time of year warm water species, but once the water cools, there is a decent resident cutthroat population as well as a few landlocked coho (not that abundant) It actually fishes decent for the cuts late fall through early spring. From the launch and north is best. South end for bass etc.
