New 2020 regs?

Post by Larry3215 » Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:04 pm

Just got an email from WDFW that the new regs are ready to download - BUT - none of the links actually go to the new regs! I cant find them anywhere. All the links on the site goes to the old regs or to the old errata PDF.

https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/regulations

They need to get this fixed pretty soon I hope!

try that one
It was on their home page. If you go into "fishing shellfishing" and then the regs you get the old one.

They must not have put the link to the new regs before you checked, the 2019 - 2020 regs are now listed under Fishing/Shellfishing and Fishing Regulations - https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/regulations

They are on duty this morning it was not that way at 0530 this morning. Good they got it fixed. They should have done it before sending out the Email. The Regs have been out on paper for a few weeks.

Its still not fixed for me. When I click on the 2019-2020 regs link, or the one from the home page, I get the corrections PDF - Sport Fishing Rules Pamphlet Corrections and Updates/Clarifications - not the new regs themselves.

Do you guys actually get the new regs or the corrections PDF?

Ok, Im stupid and didnt scroll down far enough. The download says "Sport Fishing Rules Pamphlet Corrections and Updates/Clarifications" , but that is only the fisrt page. If you scroll down far enough you can see its also has the full regs attached. Confusing if you havnt had enough coffee.

Is the content of these pamphlets available online, or should they be found locally? Because I was planning a holiday for which I'd rent one of these houses in Washington state, and that holiday would naturally involve fishing, so I need to be aware of what can and cannot be done.

tanker5455 the regs can be picked up in paper form just about anywhere that you can get a fishing license. They are also online, that gives you the full reg pamphlet and the changes after printing. WA also has a app for your phone the has the regs and can use your location to tell you the regs for the body of water you are at.

The links above - that I incorrectly said were wrong - go to a download PDF file that you can look at on-line or read after you download it. Also, the App, and other options as Hlindsay said.
