Mountain Muskies Pike Tournament

Post by dougw » Fri Mar 30, 2012 5:03 pm

The Mountain Muskies will host the Pend O Reille River Pike tournament is on April 14th. Registration will begin at 7:00am. Registration is $15 per person, with an OPTIONAL $10 side pot for big fish. There will be a mandatory boat captain meeting at 7:30am. The meeting will discuss specifics of the tournament and the rules. The tournament will kick off about 8:00. No additional people will be allowed to sign up after the tournament starts. Tournament will end at 4:00pm. Since this is a pike tournament everyone is fishing for themselves, or individually. You are allowed to put as many people as you can safely and lawfully into your boat. We have a 20 boat limit for the tournament. Last year I think we had close to that number, so you may want to show up early to insure you can sign up. Only one pole may be used in our tournaments. This doesn't mean you can't have extras available, but rather that you can only fish with one at a time. No dead or live bait is allowed. Please note you must have a "Contest" banner for your boat as well. The only place I have found them is at Valley Marine in the Spokane Valley. They run $17-18 for one. I have attached a complete list of the rules to this email. If you lose them, or want to access them from somewhere else, I have finally gotten them posted on the website home page, found here.... http://mountainmuskies.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You will find them on the right side, listed as a bullet under the tournament listing... "Rules"

Hope to see you there, and good luck.

Just an update; We have 10 boats signed up already. If you are committed to showing up, shoot me an email and confirm with me if you want a spot. douglaswood@comcast.net

Hey Doug and Fellow Pike Anglers,

Look forward to getting over and seeing everyone this weekend. I have checked the weather and it is suppose to be just perfect and ideal for Pike Fishing!!!

Quick question on anyone having an available seat for the tournament. Right now it will be my Son, My Old Man and a Buddy of mine from work who has never caught a Pike in his life so this should be great! Back to what I was asking, if anyone has an available spot in their boat let me know because My Old Man would love to fish with you. Right now I will have 3 in my boat and I can certainly do 4 it is just tight and I figured if anyone is looking for a partner that I would let you know that My Old Man has volunteered to ride with along if you would let him. Let me know, see everyone in about 5 days!!!
