This one is my fave and if you take the time learn the mm5 you can do some pretty good forcasting yourself. It's got NOAA plus all the other weather info at your finger tips. I'm sort of an ex-flying junkie and can't help the weather thing.

Hey I thought I would throw my 2 cents in. Read the "forecast notes" the forecaster does a more detailed what they think could happen. There is a lot of jaron but it gives you a lot better idea of whats going on then just the basic forecast, especailly in regards to t-storms and wind

I typically stick with Weatherbug - but for general weather conditions. The reason being that weatherbug controls the 'schoolnet' weather systems and has about twice as many private monitoring stations in the US as the next largest private company (The Weather Channel/Weather.com), plus access to the public weather stations.

I hope I'm not speaking out of my a** with this one, but my company was going to do some advertising with weatherbug and it was one of the portions of the pitch they gave us.

I'm no expert on the mm5 but what it has is all the raw data from the all the weather stations operated by noaa and the UW. If you look at the different pressures over time you can start to see a corolation between the changes and the outcomes to forecast whats going to happen in any specific area. I used to use it a lot more when I was flying foot launch aircraft. Now I just look at the forecasts and the SAT images.
